Milkyway Redux

I came across this freeware SW called Sequator that does stacking and aligning stars and redid my Milkyway using it. This one used Sequator to stack and align the images. That's why the landscape is a bit fuzzy but am able to get more info from the images.
Feedback appreciated.



This was the previous "best" as a reference. This one is a HDR stacked image.

The price for enhancing the Milky Way was some star streaking at the top right and blurring of the landscape at the bottom left. I have no idea how the software managed to enhance contrast and saturation in the Milky Way section of the image and why that couldn't be achieved with Lightroom.
More importantly, what do you think?

Blurring was due to misalignment. The older one was HDR of 3 bracket shots so the alignment was almost on target.
Where as I did 10 image stack that has some inherent misalignment because I did not think through about stacking at
the time of shooting. So I settled for dramatic milky way over blurry foreground. I could have burned the landscape further
to make blur less prominent. I liked the results and the SW.

I bet you have mentioned your profession in this forum before but I can't recall what it was or is. If I had to guess, it would be mathematics, engineering, or some scientific endeavor. Your love of process shines through.
This is not criticism,just an observation. I readily admit that I do not possess the discipline to get to where you are with this technique.

JB, Thank you. I have a MS in EE and worked in the SW side (Computer Aided Design for Integrated Circuits).
So you are spot on as to my background. As for the technique I did look at the link you posted previously
and I was looking at another youtube video for a different technique for landscapes and felt that technique
is equally applicable, if not more, in these pictures.

As for the adding MW to sky using Luminar 4, I am not sure yet. I may look at the SW for adding drama to
boring sky shots I have but with beautiful subjects. I have some Venice panoramas from San Giorgio Maggiore
that do have rather boring sky and may consider adding some drama just for the fun of it.

Nicely captured and processed, Sury. JBTaylor covered the technical aspects of the frames and I have nothing to say in that respect and I'm glad I know more for it right now.
