Death Valley, California

Late last year in November, Missus and I went to Death Valley National Park for a 3 day vacation.
I have been wanting to visit the park for quite sometime and eventually made it.

I must say, your Flickr account has more treasures than you displayed here: some of the views/scenes are incredible and dramatic especially when viewed at a higher resolution spanning the whole page. The salt desert, craters of different natures, interesting rock formations, sand extending for miles and the conical mason huts/dwellings/roadside shops(?) which I just adored!

Very good gallery and your wife looks good and happy in some shots too! The solitary scenes are wonderful wall-piece candidates. These nature scenes are very tranquilizing and captivate the imagination.

Interesting scenes of isolated vastness there, Sury.
Pretty scary to be there without provisions and vehicles.

The expansive location certainly has good texture and diverse shapes and colors that blend well to create a desolate but enigmatic place. Good choice for filming….

Devil's golf course.

Badwater Basin, Death Valley. The white expanse you have seen from Dante's point (one before previous set) is this land.
There water is too salty and early explorers called it bad water because horses wouldn't drink it. Beyond being saltine, nothing
wrong with the water. At this point you are at the lowest point in NA. You at the southern end of the valley looking north.

Interesting names for the particular spots. The Badwater salt crystal formations look like they were always there. Who knows maybe the salt has some therapeutically curing properties that built up over a long time…
