Is there any software that will let me crop a RAW image and save that cropped image as a RAW?
The reason I ask is that I have quite a few photos from last Sunday's Christmas program at Church. Most, to get the whole set of kids, are of the whole stage, but I want to cut the foreground and much of the (tall) background from the photos. Since I'm only working w/ 1/2 of the original, I thought it would save a lot of processing time if I could do the cropping first, then the post-processing.

Raw Cropping?
An a700, an a550 and couple of a580s, plus even more lenses (Zeiss included!).

Re: Raw Cropping?
That's too bad, as I often find myself cropping images, and I feel that having a cropped RAW file would speed the post-processing quite a bit.
