"Apple Fire"

Unread post by Fotogeorge »

The "Apple Fire" is currently ongoing in Cherry Valley, California. I took these shots from my home, with a Sony a 6500 and Sony 18-105 f4 lens. I processed the RAW files with DxO 3.3 and NIK HDR. Evacuations are ongoing in the affected areas.

Fotogeorge,
Very scary. Hoping and praying it stays away from your neighborhoods.
We had few scary moments ourselves in San Jose, CA couple of years ago.

Yes, it is a scary situation. According to the news, law enforcement arrested 4 teens and a man with a gas can for starting the fires. Aircraft with fire retardant or water are flying over my home. It's 102 F outside, so it's not a picnic fighting the fires.
