Inspired by (Last Update)

Sury's flower images, I decided to drive 2 hours north to visit Longwood Gardens. Maybe it's the times we live in but the place seemed brighter and livelier. Regardless, it was food for the soul.
Shot with the ZA 135mm (of course) and the Tamron 15-30mm (all shot at 15mm).

Very interesting perspective on that wide angle shots. I should give it a try.

They are phenomenal, JBTaylor.
Some have soft beauty and colours and some have strong spines and blades of spectacular quality.

Thanks for sharing,

It only took a few minutes to decide to make the trip north. Glad I did. Taking the Tamron 15-30mm was a last minute decision.

Thank you so much Yildiz, for noticing everything. Yes, I am now 58.
A final note. Most of the images captured from this wonderful day were taken from the hip or below. Only a few were taken with the camera held to my face. The flip screen on the a99 is a must and should be as common as back up cameras on cars. There, I said it.
Off to Florida this week. Images of fast boats coming soon.

How great to be 58 years young! :D

And, how are the fast boats doing? :) Anything to your liking that happened worth shooting down in Florida?

Looking forward to seeing them.
