This is the entrance to EXIT glacier national park. The reason I am showing this is that from this point there is about a two mile
hike to see the glacier (called EXIT). I did not realize the significance or I would have taken some shots of the sign boards starting
at this entrance showing a 4 digit number since 1800s. That turned out to be the year in which the glacier was at that point. It has been
receding around 160 feet per year since 2010. Since they started marking the glacier has receding about two miles or so as you can see
from the photos below.
Not withstanding my personal views on the climate change, this is a visual reminder of the impact of the climate change. If humans are
causing it, or the Nature is taking its course or a combination thereof is a moot point. The impact is real.
