New to Sony G club

I recently bought Sony 70-200G. Huge lens, superbly built, awesome color rendition and I like the 3-D look of the pics. I initially thought of buying Tamy version as I don't shoot sports. But in none of the samples from web I could find similar color rendition and that 3-D pop. My wife said buy what you make happy, so, I got the G.

Welcome to the G club. I agree with you about the 3D feel.
People always called it the portrait zoom. I always wondered why but now that I have used it (especially in non-studio environment such as
the lovely lady on the people mover), I am beginning to see why.
Believe it or not I am exercising with that lens in a backpack so I can take it along with me on trips. The weight (bulk) is the only drawback.
