Harbour tour

Unread post by Javelin »

got out earleir this week to shoot for fun. I was in Owen Sound for a meeting so I took a little time to tour the harbour there where there were 2 lake carriers and a ferry tied up. The weather was grey and a little foggy.

These lake carriers are 700+ feet long and can carry any kind of bulk material like grain, coal. ore. ect. These 2 are called self unloaders because they can unload themselves withlout shore facilities.

The heavy overcast masks a lot of details of the longer shots, but the caboose was sure looking good.

I think the fog made all the close by colours look more acute
