I think they're pretty good! The first is perhaps the better of the two with more comfortable framing for the elements that interrupt the space. Speaking of those elements, they seem to be the very same size in both pictures. Were you shooting with a prime?

No, with zoom, and big one too I was testing my newly acquired Tamron 200-400mm. These shots were taken both at 200mm.

Just a tiny question on the Tamron zoom lens: Do you like its performence of speed and sharpness so far?

When it has to go with focus from short distance to infinity (or vice versa) it takes quite a long time, however short adjustments, say, for birding when birds are +/- at same distance it is very responsive. As for sharpness I can't say much yet. At 200mm it seems very sharp. 400mm isn't that good but it may be because I wasn't using tripod and wasn't going with shutter speeds below 1/300 sec. Lens is heavy, after hour of constant shooting keeping +/- 2 kilos (a200+grip+2 batteries+lens) at eye level may cause some problems (like blur at 400mm ). Also weather here sucks now, no sun, just clouds.

The weights of the different equipment surely add up to being unbearable and tiring after some time and may even start to affect one's focusing and stability capabilities...
