LENS:New Photojournalism Blog in The New York Times

Hello all,

If you haven't seen it already, I think you may find it interesting and enjoyable to visit the new blog by the New York Times on Photojournalism and most importantly on photos and photo-shooting experiences by many photographers that work in different premises, like the White House or portraiture and many more.

I've seen only a couple of the slideshows and read only two articles yet but I think those photos from the archives are worth taking a look.

I don't think you've got their full attention Yildiz, I think the all consuming passion right now is the new bodies, and figuring out what they're useful for...

Hi Greg,

I understand. Because these new cameras are offering a lot of mystery and a tad of disappointment for not offering the 'anticipated' for the time being, there's a lot of turmoil running around.

Personally, I probably won't be buying any of the three new bodies as I'm waiting for something more like the A700 and the A900 but the new triggering flash news sounds intriguing if not fully confirmed.

I'm browsing the LENS blog right now and I think it's worthy of looking into. I recommend it. There are even some slideshows where you can see 'live' the video capability of one of the new Canon cameras while a journalist shoots Obama meeting at the White House. He actually records video while running into the meeting room and it's kind of interesting.

I really enjoyed this article about large format photography... not least because the first image associated with it depicts approximately one hour of one of my favorite movies.
