sofobomo 09: finished my book

Unread post by springm »

It seems that nobody else of photoclub alpha was or is participating in sofobomo 2009. For those that do not know it: Sofobomo stands for Solo Foto Book Month. It is a self assignment to photograph and compile a pdf photobook containing minimum 35 pictures in a 30 day period. For details just see the link. This year 773 photographers have registered for this event.

My theme were the fishermen at the beach of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. I have shown already some pictures of this location here in this forum, here is another one:

and here is the download link for the sofobomo book "Batticaloa Fishermen" (pdf format, 7 MB). The images were converted with bibble5, the book was set with scribusNG on a linux machine.

As always, feedback is very welcome.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Meanwhile I have made it available on issuu, too. This version requires flash and a fast internet connection, but it's easier to read and more book-like here: http://issuu.com/markus_spring/docs/bat ... sofobomo09
