Those guys were serious about posting that speed limit alright, one on each side of the road, both facing the same way...hmmm :)

They have to be on both sides so that if the left one is obscured you will see the right. Means the " I didn't see the sign officer" carries no weight. :D
The older I get the better I used to be.
