Sigma Advert

Unread post by marktuma »

I just got the latest issue of the magazine - great job again David etal.

The Sigma advert on the back cover raised a smile though - the 30/1.4 looks like a very nice lens, but they don't make it for A-mount! Maybe by the next issue they could bring out an A-mount version ;)

Just to think that here in Armenia every photographer (enthusiast, amateur or pro alike) is standing in line to just read the latest 2 issues of the magazine. Journals and magazines here are in Russian, so whenever someone receives a magazine in English, you get a line.
I wonder, why am I not giving the mags in rent :?

Now I'm confused! How can they sell an A-mount version when Sigma apparently don't make one?? I'm not after one, just amused by them not advertising an A-mount product.

Dr Harout, I take it this issue hasn't made it to Armenia yet? It'll be worth the wait.

We questioned Sigma on this. They confirmed they wanted to run the 30mm, and that they have stock in Alpha mount. I then asked for one to test and they had none left :-)
