Hi Pirate - I think you mean A700 in the title line  , The A7000 would be a very exciting prospect :D . Mike had already raised this here http://www.photoclubalpha.com/forum/vie ... =25&t=3010. I wonder how much stock they have left?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Yeah, that is a very high price for the 1985 Alpha 7000. :)

Birma buddy, I think it is the best time to buy a non used camera at that price, and what camera... an A700. Go for it and sell your A100. You won't regret.

The more we publicise it the more people can benefit!
A superb camera at that price.

Birma, what are you waiting for (unless you want video of course).
I jumped when it was £550 and haven't regreted it.
Still use the A100 occasionally but the A700 is in a different league.

All my Sony SLT gear gone. Still got my RX100 though.

Thanks for the tip-off Pirate. Just called Camera World this morning and they were sold out over the week-end. They called back to advise me of the arrival of two more A700 bodies. One is now on its way to me at the advertised price of £499.99 body only. My old A700 will go to my son. This camera has been and still is fine for me and at this price it's a winner. It would also indicate that Sony UK must still have some available.
