How enchanting the blues of the water and the sky can be! Mystifying...
If it weren't for the reeds on the shoreline, it could be mistaken for a fairy land no doubt.

Quite a nice morning scene, I like the mist and the bright sheen on the water. I thought those grass tussocks looked a little familiar, like the Mitchell grass out west....then I looked accross to the left...doh

Thankyou all for the comments. I'm interested in any comments people have about the use of HDR. I played with it for a while and probably haven't played enough so I'm thinking I'll go back and do some more bracketing. Though I'm not a huge fan of HDR, I sort of like the idea of using it selectively. In this case, everthing from the high water mark on the shoreline is HDR. For the foreground, I masked in one of the exposures on the positive EV side of the bracket.

It shows in the reflection of the sky in the lake. It's a bit blown out there.
