Here's one from me (as a start)
Banana leaves in Belek area, Antalya, Turkey

Great to have you back, Dr. Harout! Welcome! : ))
Hmm, banana leaves from Belek are looking as though they also accompanied some nice fruits. Healthy leaves that have a good linear fibre texture; almost looking like a watertight tent canvas...

I'll post a shot of the newly protruding fruits (still early to have mature banana).
Too many shots I made in Turkey. I'll post some worthy ones (imho) after having finished the PP. (As a matter of fact, I even didn't begin yet

We'd love to see more of your stay in Belek, Antalya, when you can get around to processing then, Dr. Harout.Dr. Harout wrote: Thanks Yildiz.

Re: Leaves 2010
Birma- You must have posted that great IR shot as I was composing my last post. Wonderful.
bakubo- The water shot is very peaceful...
Dr Harout. Good to see your photos again...
The variety of leaves and compositions is wonderful..
Here is one of my Cottonwood leaves taped to an x-ray view box to back light it. 28-85 macro, a200. I had to reduce the jpeg quality bunch to get the file size right. Of course I forgot to save the full size of the edited RAW, so back to the 'ol laptop.

Re: Leaves 2010
Nice to see some hospital-equipment-lighting-aided macro-like shot of a leaf, John. : ))
Those are some fine details of the veins....
Maybe next in line is a MRI or CT image of a leaf or flower registered by your camera?
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Re: Leaves 2010
I love all the leaf shots, so much variety and so many different visions
Here is my contribution. An autumn shot I'm afriad but Sycamore leaves on the move and multicoloured. In the midst of a low patch it really cheered me up.
Taken with my A350 and a Carl Zeiss 16-80mm lens.

Re: Leaves 2010
Great leaves - I especially like Henry's leaves floating in water, John's close-up, and Anna's leaves in movement. The interesting thing about the pictures here compared to the flowers thread is that it seems people get more inventive in photographing leaves which are perhaps less obviously attractive than flowers? Just a thought.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
