Test a link for me?

Unread post by Lonnie Utah »

Ok, I'm about to roll out the poll for final voting for the never ending photo contest at work. Could you all please take a peek and give some feed back? (mis-spellings, whatever). I know it's long, but if you can make it to the end, that would be awesome....

Please vote as that is helpful for me in trouble shooting as well.

Thx in advance,
L

I got tired on the 11th one... it's already too late here.

Not too long. I voted in what I thought best, having no knowledge of the rooms they are actually going into!

Don't worry. That part doesn't really matter. I'm just check to make sure the stats and other stuff works. I'm going to erase the votes and restrict the IP address before the final rollout, so it will just be employees that get to take part. Thanks again for checking it out.

Done. FWIW, I would be curious about the voting results you get from here, assuming that enough people do vote to give a solid trend.

In my own case, there were times that I selected an image that was not necessarily my favorite in that group, but instead was the image that I felt best captured what was apparently the theme of that specific group. I assumed that this was the intent of the grouping, but if that was not the case then I would have made differenet selections in some cases.

With best wishes,

UM,

I can't really tell who is who when voting only totals. Any way, I've erased the votes, changed a few things and I'm running it again. It's now "multiple choice". I think this is going to work out better. We were getting lots of clear favs for just the reason you stated above. What was less clear is which pics were 3rd, 4th and 5th place. Each room will have 3-5 prints in it depending on size. The top X photos in each group will be our winners.

Ok, feel free to vote again! And thanks A TON for all your (collective) help...

Done.
Some really nice pics. There is a lack of consistency on the post process, probably the pics were corrected on different software/computers/screens??

The photos were all submitted by employees of my workplace. Everying from DSLR's and lots of post to P/S cameras and zero post.

I have turned on IP blocking so unless you work in my building, you won't be able to see this anymore. Thanks to all that helped. I'll post links to the winners when it's all said an done...

Hi Lonnie,

I misunderstood the whole thing, I thought you were asking for help choosing *your* pics for a contest at your workplace...
Anyway, some nice pics...
