other peoples photo's

Unread post by mikehawthorne »

hi all

when i have seen some of the photo's that other members post here i think i am wasting my time.
the tall ships photo's are really outstanding, with no sighn of obvious sharpening in photoshop. it may well be down to lens or the photogropher, i dont know. but i shall keep trying.

thanks dr harout for kind comments.

Hey don't give up Mike, the tall ships are a hard act too follow for anyone not just yourself. Post some photos and don't worry about it or you might get an attack of GAS :-)

Hmm, the wonder of tall ships?! :D

Yes, you need not worry, Mike. They were here in Istanbul Port during the Historical Seas Regatta and due to excited crowd and I being one of the most enchanted ones, I wasn't able to get beautiful shots that could match the dynamic colurs and crispness of Paul's photos.. : )

Keep shooting what you love and hate the most and you'll be pleased with yoourself and with your photos too.

Hi Mike - just to echo the general sentiments, I'm sure that everyone on the forum has seen pictures that they wished they produced, and everyone wants to improve. Paul's shots always have great colours and 'crispness' and I'm glad he, and everyone else, keeps posting pictures to inspire the rest of us.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Hello Mike,

I only find one way for recovering your pain: keep shooting!
;-)
