Well my brother has had a good year with his lifelong passion, fishing..
A few months back he won the International Championships in the 18ft Spey Distance Casting,
Just last weekend he became the World Champion @ 18ft Spey Distance Casting.
I done a quick shot for the local paper for him, silverware outside was a problem, but no huge biggie as it will in all probability end up B&W and small.
My brother finaly became the World Champion Spey Casting....

Well he's got my respect, I know only vaguely of fly casting, and hardly anything about spey casting, but I'm sure if I tried it I'd end up with the line wrapped around my head and the fly stuck in my nose.
Greg
ps. Yeah B&W should fix the green silver too a large extent one would think.

There was some other (in my opinion) my much much better shots where i chose the location (shade, subtle fill flash) but thats the one he wants so who am i?
Thing is with this casting jiggery pokery it all seems reasonably straight forward untill you actually hold a 18ft double handed rod with a strict time limit, thats where most go belly up, plus the wind factor,.
I Have been a keen angler since, well over 25 years and i just could not cast one of these 5 meters let alone 59-60 odd meters.
Actually here is a short sample video i made last year, this is something we may or may not get into this year, tutorials.

Where we fall out would be the other video on youtube he done with a sony P&S and a friend that is in my opinion shecht!
We are aiming to be in kelso around the 24th septmeber where iam going to shoot a short video.

Congratulations to your brother Highlandsnapper - a haul of silver-ware to be proud of
. I did some fly fishing as a boy, only trout on streams and small rivers, but I appreciate the skill involved in casting a line - especially two handed. Once you are world champion what next ?
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
