OK, Let's see 'em. Be it your proudest catch or your favorite spot, let's post some fishing photos for those of us that enjoy wetting a line.

I sotof like these few of my brother (there are more, but these show the story whch doesn't change much from then on) with some huuuge whatever, we were thinking 200lb+ grouper (giant cod) possibly, I had one on in the same area the previous day and it took me 3/4's of an hour on 50lb tackle bent like a horeshoe the whole time too finally get it near enough to the surface to see what it was, then I cut the line. Richard snapped his off with the drag locked up after about 10mins to get rid of it.

He did catch a nice Barra though, (more than one) so did I, (my first big Barra), but I won't post that one as I look really grotty.

This is in a boat on a small lake in East Texas in 1978. I got Don just at the moment he felt he had a bite. Taken with a Minolta XK and 50mm f1.4.

As I was saying DA (no photos allowed in pm's apparently) in my pm, this has been my view of the world (sanding down the boat) for the past couple of weeks, so I might as well take a photo of it I thought, seeing as how it was so much fun.

Ah, Greg, as I have heard said to me so many times - it is all in the preparation . There are so many past-times, I think including fishing (and perhaps photography?) where you can spend more time tinkering with equipment, and talking about it, then you ever spend doing it .

Yep Birma I agree, it's can be a distraction alright, the talking about it instead of 'doing it' with either of the two, I sometimes wonder how people who's job it is too test and write about boats, fishing or cameras and photography ever have time too do it for themselves and their families, especially if they have to keep tabs on a related forum or two.
