I have a Zeiss lens now, albeit old but in a very good condition. Bought it for around 20-25 USD.
Made some quick tests:
The first @ f/2.8
second @ f/5.6

The EXIF will show f/1.7 in both images due to the AF confirm chip on the M42 adapter.

This is one brilliant lens and a great bargain, Dr. Harout.
These photos speak quality aloud, in colours, depth of field, detail, good light...
Enjoy it perpetually!

To be honest, I stole 2. But alas the second one's focusing ring was dismantled. I fixed it but... cannot yet align the 2 rotating barrels in the exact position. But I'll manage that too. And if I do, I'll give it to Armen.

Oh, and thanks everyone. I'm just trying to create a database like topic on a specific lens.
David begun with the 30/2.8 macro. This is the second one.
So anyone with these lenses can enrich the topic.
+ anyone can begin with a new topic on a specific lens. (I guess Frank has a lot to post here).
And what if we create a totally separate section for lenses?
