Cracking water lillies Jcoffin I love the detail of the water droplets on the petlas, and nice to see the surroundings as well.

Wow donwae12 - that is red - I almost had to turn my monitor down . Roses do come in some spectacular colours.

Good point about fruit coming from the flowers - and those strawberries do look delicious!

It was a lovely sunny day here, if still cold. Certainly felt like spring was getting close. Here is the first crocus in our garden to emerge in to the sunlight.

The crocus shot is beautiful. Good timing for the light that hits the dew on the petals. The snow drops are a charming bunch.. : )

Very true Doc! I think she has a much better 'eye' for a picture than me. I feel that I am the studio assistant; I fit the requested lens and set up all the technical things on the camera, and then hand it over to the 'artist' who takes the pictures, and then hands the camera back to the assistant for down-loading and PPing . I will try and get her to post some of her own shots but she has other internet communities that she is part of and so you may have to put up with the assistant here at PCA . She does appreciate all of the nice comments.

I like the mutated flowers stevecim, the even look edible now. I don't think I've ever seen an actual strawberry flower, come to think of it.
Nice flowers those snowdrops Birma, a welcome sight for you I bet, the Crocus is well taken too.

i like this because none of the leaves or petals seem to be damaged which is unusual for around here,they're usually full of blackspot and insect munching

A type of rose or Cammellia, I suppose ? It does have a resemblance to a type f Hibiscus too, though.

Yildiz ,I think it's a dog rose (rosa canina) a wild rose, used a lot for grafting of cultivated species, seemingly it was also used to treat the bite of rabid dogs
