Ahoy!

This is a 1964 built Chinese Mig-17 F 'Fresco' (Shengyang F4) currently undergoing restoration at Kissimmee Air Museum, Florida, USA. I've tried to give a bit of a 'pop' to enhance the details a bit more.

Taken with Sony A700 + Sigma AF 17-70mm DC Macro.

Good one, Pirate.

You selected a good angle and the colours are fairly neutral under the light coming from the opening. It sort of has a 'living room' appeal. I wouldn't mind having one of those in mine if it looked like that. : ) Sort of a weird wish but not inapplicable...

Good detais on the Mig-17 F.

Thanks for looking and the C&C. I'm still working on my holiday images from 2010, but I'll gert there in the end. I'm currently in my sick bed (literally) as it's a hospital bed I have in my house, and today is not a good day in that depatment, so I'm trying to work on images under the effects of morphine and other tablets!

I haven't seen a restoration photo of a Mig17 before, and that's a good shot. One would think Mig17 parts might be getting a bit scarce now.
