I can't carry a DSLR, and I hate viewfinders anyway, but the bottom line is just the image. The nex is in the top tier of APS-C.



When someone makes a Full Frame that can take legacy LTM and SLR glass, the nex will become my second camera.

But everyone has their preferences

Last year we were driving south from Vancouver, BC through Washington, Oregon, and then Northern California heading to Santa Cruz (on the coast just south of San Francisco). It took us a few days to get there. I recall that we got off the main highway and went into a little town to have lunch and while we sat next to the big picture window we had a great view of Mt. Shasta looming over the town. There were some trees and buildings across the street that hid part of it though so I didn't take a photo. After driving out of town though I found a place to stop where there was this view. For long periods the top of the mountain was obscured by those clouds and then for a few minutes you could see it. The problem was that as we drove along whenever I found a place to stop with a good view the top was obscured and then when the top wasn't obscured there was no clear view. I could have just stopped somewhere and waited, but sometimes it took quite awhile before you could see the top again and I wanted to make time on the road. Fortunately, the two things coincided at some point.

Admirable wild life shots! I like both shots; while the first is of a deer defying the 'DO NOT PASS' warning and the approaching headlights, the second is a better shade of evening blue with those wonderful creatures. I'm surprised you captured a herd of them in a single frame.
