I found the manuals for the 7D and specially the A700 quite frugal while talking about the wireless Flash system The A700 is a Camera with much more options and even then, the manual isn't generous enough: it's a shame they don't explain better the Creative Styles and Zone Matching, witch effects over the photographs is subtle if you compare them with DRO.
Today, the Sony Rep for the area is at the Adorama Store, handling cameras (not the A900) and lenses. He told me we won't have the A900 available before the Photo Plus Expo (Oct 23 -25) He told me he think the A900 is a better Camera than the 5D mkII, so don't expect a drastically drop in the price tag any soon. He didn't believe Live View and Video "with those limitation" are a real plus, comparing with SSS and, when I ask about the Owners manual, he told me that the idea isn't a "how to" book but a general "technical" instructions. He think a deeper view of the camera have it's place on how to books and DVDs.
I think that, since the cameras are more and more complexes, we need better User Manuals.

Re: Owners Manual
Be careful about what you ask for. Someone made the same complaint to General Motors. The resulting user manual for my Chevy Avalanche is a mind-numbing 628 pages.

I'm not affraid of that.
At least they can put it on line, on a dedicate Alpha website. The european Sony website have some nice pages about color managment and tips for the IDC, I think they must go deeper that way. (and multi language)
