The World is full of mountains, so let's keep this thread going. Just back from Switzerland. Weather so so but got some sunshine. Here is a "grab shot" of a glider and three engined propeller plane at Rigi-Kuhn near Luzerne in Switzerland. I took the picture from the train going from a nice place called Vitznau on the Lake Luzerne. Wonderful sail on a steamer from Luzerne to get to Viznau before boarding the train (after a wonderful lakeside lunch).

Beautiful shot , I'd love to visit Switzerland, I've flown over it several times but never been there.

Great timing! Almost every kind of structure and aircraft that one would see on the ground and in the sky are present in this wonderful Swiss land piece. : )) Love Switzerland and its wonderful nature myself.

I came late to this thread but when I saw it was mountain subjects I had to go through every page and there are some great shots in here. Thought I might add a few. Reaching back in time for this first one which was taken with a Minolta X-700 and the MD 35-70 at about 14,000 feet (4200 meters) up in the Sierra Nevadas in California - Kodachrome 64 - I'm assuming we're not limited to just digital here although I have some of that too -

Here's one in Alaska at the Turnagain Arm not too far from Anchorage. This was with a Maxxum 5 and the 24-105 lens using Kodak E100VS. I really enjoyed using that film -

Great pictures Edrice. I particularly like the Alasca and S. California shots. Plenty of mood and magic in these. The light around the animals is fantastic.
