Hi all I am new to Sony. I currently use the Next 5 but have a Nex7 and a77 kit on pre order. I have been using Olympus since they went digital starting with the E500 and now the E5. With current events it is causing me to start looking past Olympus. I wanted a wide angle lens but just couldn't invest that much money on a system with an uncertain future.
So after weeks of reading reviews, looking at DXO marks and trying to look into my crystal ball and predict the future here I am.
I already ordered the 11-18mm and an adapter so I can use it on my Nex 5 for now.
Oh yeah my name is Greg and here is my web site.
www.gregmccary.com
I will need lots of help I am sure getting use to the Sony system and lenses.

Re: Hello from Georgia
Welcome to the forum Greg. You'll be quite comfortable here as we are a very friendly forum.
At first I thought you were from Georgia, but it comes out that you are not from Georgia and instead you are from Georgia. Go figure
Of course you do understand that I meant the Republic of Georgia.

Re: Hello from Georgia
Thanks George. Seeing my ID as Cosmonaut probably threw you. The ID comes from an eBay ID my step daughter created for my years ago. I am not sure what she was thinking but it stuck cause I liked it.

Hi Greg, welcome to the forums!
I've looked at your website and must say you have quite a nice collection of images there! I especially like your Berry College and Landscape galleries.

Hi Greg from Georgia USA . Welcome to the forum from me too. I must admit that I thought the same as the Doc when I read you post. You have some really nice images on your site. I like the IR statues especially. Looking forward to seeing you Nex and A77 images, but please feel free to post any Oly pics as well as we're badge agnostic in the image forums as long as you say what the pics are from.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
