i think it was kodak slide 100 iso, it may seem a bit on the light side but it was petty much as i remember colour wise,exposure ect. to my eyes on the day.

Either the scanning was not performed well enough or the slide got deteriorated during these years. Or was it the PP

i do take on board comments like yours i know they are constructive and honest i have adjusted it omewhat, any improvement.

I liked it. it's so hard to tell about the technical on the shots here because the samples are pretty small. I just like seeing places I've never been no matter the quality of the shot. And your shot here has that look of old film slides which I don't mind much either

Less noise probably. The Canon scanner that you were mentioning, is it a flat bed scanner? If yes, then there might lie the problem.
I think you played with the levels for the second attachment.
Believe me I'm not good at scanning films. But trying to learn. Maybe I'm seeing the same mistakes I'm doing, so pointing them to get an answer, who knows
The composition and the shot are good, the colors need some fixing I think.
Did you convert to grayscale? If it looks great, then the colors are to be blamed, if not, then try to play again with the levels.

the scanner is a canon 2710 8 year old slide scanner it might be on its way out, i will try grey scale for effect though.
