Biirds and Animals at San Diego Safari Park

These were taken at San Diego Safari Park, a 200+ acre preserve, where animals are kept in very large enclosures with as much of their natural
habitat as possible recreated. The visit was in 2011 December, so I did not post them in Birds of 2012 though the animals could go in FAUNA thread.

I like the Antlopes photo for its nice composistion the most I guess but they are all great shots of some lovely fauna. The Rhino looks both intimidating and peaceful..if that is possible. : )

Rhino is intimidating by its sheer size and horns. It is at peace since this one does not have to worry about any poachers.

The Flamingos are nice and so is the Heron, but that Egret with the reflection is a winner Sury. I like the Antelope shot too they seem to be doing a little bit of sniffing, just too check, (they’re always a bit horny so to speak) nice Giraffe and Rhino photos as well (impressive Rhino).
