Those are pretty Doves caporip, I bet in tough times like now the food supply is popular.

Greg, we shared
. The weight and age restrictions printed on the sled proved to be overly cautious. We managed two on ours quite easily, and other people were managing to cram three on to theirs!

What's all that tackle on the shoreline caporip? some kind of wave barrier. It does look like a pleasant day...that guy on the left looks like Sean Connery a bit.

thay are breakwaters to prevent flooding and erosion. They are about 15 yards apart the entire length of the beach. it was a great day rounded off with a good band in the neptune (the white building) and 4 pints of Harveys!

From Yesterday's "snowmageddon" is this snap the wife took of Rex enjoying the snow.
Since it's from her W290 and there is no RAW, I have the choice of blowing out the snow of showing Rex's face. This is the best compromise without taking any time to PP.

Well, it wasn't today, but it was this week; 20% chance of rain and 100% chance of choppy seas:

Tsawwassen 6ºc sun & cloud today.
Finally got out to the woods & wetlands today, been a while. It was busy out there, an older guy birding & a couple of ramblers. Rarely bump into anybody where I go!
Older guy oblivious to my presence.

In the wet muddy soil a bullrush I think?

Goldeneye duck.

Don't like people, took a dive surfaced & took off.

Hi DA - nice set - I especially like the new shoot coming through - great lighting. It does feel good to get back out in the countryside again. I went out yesterday for a family walk. No pics as the wood we went seemed to be almost completely asleep still - an incredible air of quiet slumber and 'waiting'. We did see a couple of LBJs that no doubt you, Mark, Robbie or Pat would have caught on sensor, but we just stood in wonder at anything else moving about except us
.

I wonder what the birder was photographing DA, judging by the gear it must have been fairly close one would think. That’s a bright little plant shoot in the leaf mould and mud it looks like a rapid developer, I like that one, good photo. And I like the pretty duck too maybe it should go in the bird thread?

Thanks Greg & Birma.
I paused when I saw the older guy Greg and just veered right after he took his shots.
Not sure what it was he took??

Well we still have wintertime here, but today was the first day that you could feel the warmth ( is the right word) from the sun.
But in 6-8 weeks the small boats will be in the "liquid" water again....

That's lovely Dennis! I miss snow, would you believe I used to get more snow in Texas than I get now north of the 45th parallel in Seattle Washington?
