Converter or no converter
Hi i have a question, i have a sigma 70-200 2,8 but i need more reach for birds and such, should i go for the sigma 150-500 or should i go for the Sigma 2,0x converter to my 70-200 2,8
i also have the sigma 70-300 APO so the 1,4x converter is no choice.

Re: Converter or no converter
Well, I can't find the images I saw with the tc combo.
Generally speaking, a lens that has more mm natively has the upper hand in image quality. Add to that the extra 100 mm you win with the 150-500. However, the tc will be cheaper. Maybe you could find some info in the Dyxum lens database.

Re: Converter or no converter
Sorry
One of my mates has the 150-500 on Nikon and he is happy with it so I guess it is ok. Can't speak for it myself.
