Having seen this place, I can relate to the grandeur of the landscape, and I am with
Pako on the last shot. For those who have not seen this, the presence of that person
gives us a feel for the scale.
I can see the scale from the trees, they give me the impression it's very big right off the bat, it really is an amazing place, also it looks very windy out on the water with those scuds on the surface.

Thanks for the comments. Crater Lake is beautiful, but even in late April the snowpack made the snowshoes necessary. I would love to go back when one could actually hike around the lake and still have snow on the ground.
It was indeed windy on the water and on the rim. The crisp air hitting one's face was wonderful.
