Very pretty scenes Birma, it’s amazing to me seeing uncultivated wildflowers covering the whole scene. Why is the horizon tilted in the first, I’m assuming the land is actually sloped like that? And the path through the Buttercups is a great idea for photos too, although do you think that maximum dof would be better at showing the path through the flowers? I find I want to follow the path with my eye through the flowers to the end but it loses detail after a short distance so I get a vague deprived feeling.

Greg, yes the land slopes up in the first one. I wanted the path to disappear in to an abstract of almost just colours. I did experiment wiht a smaller f stop. I'll try to process it when I'm home at the weekend.

I like that second last path shot with plenty of dof Birma especially, (it shows as not available on my screen but you can follow the link). The paths don't look over used, so I guess that's good in a sense.

Thanks Valery. I like the fish-eye shots and there is a an extra charm for me that you were fishing while using a afish-eye lens .

Very nice Marcell - I like the fact that you have included the different, striking colours, of the wild flowers in each picture.

Nice ones Valery and very crisp photos Marcell, (even though I normally hate fisheye lenses used for landscapes)
Two very lovely scenes Birma, Joan's Hill Farm is a great place, (is that a tree plantation over on the left in the second?)

Thanks Greg You correctly spotted the tree plantation. Fine on the distant hillside, but an almost sterile mono-culture inside them. They smother everything else planted so close together.

Here are some friendlier trees around around the meadow's edge, but you can see some more conifers planted beyond that.

The meadows do look marvellous when they are blooming like that, it's a wonder the grass doesn't win the argument in the end though, it tends too here, maybe the grass is more aggressive and taller here or something, and yes interior of a tree plantation is pretty bleak, we have them here too, I don't think even birds hang out there.
