Love those Richard - the castle one has got some great B&W tones, and the sky is very dramatic. The train sets off the sepia tones nicely in the second .

Nice B&W shots Doc, Sury and Richard! I have to admit to living vicariously through Doc's photos of late!
Here are a couple from New Orleans. Dannelle and I went there for a quick getaway not too long ago.

Thanks Sury and Yildiz! I can't wait until Dannelle and I go there again!
Here are three from a local park that opened recently.
I found the a77 difficult to use for long-exposure IR work, but I wanted to give it a shot.
Hopefully my NEX C3 that I just shipped off to be converted to IR gets back soon!

The first one looked like a hat (Fedora type). Was that by design or my imagination?
It is interesting to notice that the image has certain coolness belying the heat evidenced
by the presence of Sun.

Thanks Sury- It does resemble a Fedora from some angles, maybe even a Sombrero. Some of that coolness you mention is related to IR itself, and the fact that most of the visible side is shaded from the sun.. I was hoping for some clouds, but alas, it has been a perfectly clear day here in McKinney..

The first and the second shots are very nice for the IF depiction making the scene more outworldly... That the trees turn white makes the architecture stand out.

This is a photo (scanned negative) I took at Meteora, Greece in 2001.
