Just the cheap but decent Sony 75-300/4.5-5.6 (though planning to acquire the announced 70-400, instead of keeping the money and loosing it).

Here are a few from the South Lakes wild animal park, we got our eldest daughter who wants to be a vet, a day as a keeper for her 16th.

I was a bit nervous when we found out she was going to help with the big cats!

They feed them by putting meat 20 feet up these poles (the speed a tiger can climb shocked me - tip if chased by a tiger don't bother climbing a tree)







The park also has a large population of ring tail lemurs, who are like teenage hooligans



Also a male peacock who was displaying for all he was worth to some distinctly un-interested females

Not from a Zoo as such but here's one Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust on the River Severn estuary in England.

Great flamingo picture. I bet that would look good as a large print.

We are close to the Washington Wetland centre but the new flamingo habitat is hopeless for visitors - its set back and L-shaped going up a hill. The birds congregate where its almost impossible to see them, let alone photograph.
