The 14-24mm 2.8 (instead of the lens size compare to the David recent review of the 10-18mm OSS 4.0 Sony) is the best Wide angle option for really challenging the 36 mega pixels. Yes it is big, but not that much, and adapter to control the aperture can be found for ~20$ on ebay with very good quality.
And now, for the junky of depth of field, here is the second setup, this one is little bit expensive due to the need of purchase of the new Metabones NEX to EF Mark III, but I found very good standard price at B&H. And event if B&H told the availability in 2-4 weeks, I received mine in Canada 2 days after doing the purchase on Website

85mm F1.2 Version II on A7R.
The lens is fantastic, even at F1.2 (very impressive). From center to corner you get good result.
The focus a little slow in dim light, but very precise. And in good light it is acceptable (almost like my old minolta 7d feeling

).
But like using the Zeiss 135mm 1.8 on the camera (I had to purchase also the new adapter of Sony), you have the feeling to take the lens only in your hand and to have a lcd on the back

.
Tomorrow I will try to take some picture with it. (and mostly very soon with the third one coming in few days).
