This was my first attempt at snowflake macro shots.

I was using a Sony a580 with the Sony 16-80 zeiss lens reverse mounted to the camera. Because it was reverse mounted, some of the exif data is meaningless or missing so I'm not sure what the f-stop was, nor do I know for sure teh focal length. I believe that these shots wee all taken at the 16mm end for maximum magnification. I set up in the garage so that the snowflakes didn't melt to quickly. I caught snowflakes outside on a navy blue sweater and brought them into the garage to shoot.

I really need a sturdier/smoother tripod and a lens band to keep the focal length from drifting while adjusting the aperture and the focus.
