With the mist, gives the image a beautiful transitional gradiant, like a nice filter.
Works great with the play of light.

Not sure if this qualifies as a landscape.
I wanted to capture the amazing Silver Birch bark with a view of the wood as we'll.

It does qualify Andy as a landscape. Fantastic shots, as always.
I think tying your hands may help since you may hide your camera
remote in there.
I suggest hiding the battery.

Good point about the remote release. Taking the battery will do to, but I do have spares

Very nice layers Andy. I love the foreground providing a (sharp) threshold and it gets dreamy beyond that.
Is mk1 new version?

"Mk1" was meant to refer to the original version; I couldn't remember the correct nomenclature. Perhaps I'll just say "original" in future

Beautiful images of landscape rolling from your A99 and 70-400mm combination, Birma. : )
The beauty of the mornings in your premises is very diverse too; the mist, the backlighting and the dewy freshness are all tentatively visible or available.
Thans for sharing,
Yildiz

. I wouldn't mind some sharp frosty mornings for a change. Rather too many damp ones recently. Still, it is always nice to be out and about at dawn when the sun is shining

With all of the rain we've had I was expecting this little brook to be in flood more than it was. However you can see it has been even higher than it is now. The exposed tree roots gave me the impression that the trees were clinging on to the bank so they were not swept away, which I suppose in truth they are!

We don't get out to the coast too often, but we were rewarded with a nice sunset this weekend.
