Thank you Ian. This is Oceano beach, a popular location for ATV rides on Sand Dunes.

Thank you Andy. Beyond the hillocks is the dune area. I will upload some "action" shots later tonight.

Up at the crack of dawn; which, by the way, isn't too early this time of year. :)

That does look like fun, Sury. Can't believe that you didn't all collide as you all seem to be going in completely different directions! :)

That is a stunning dawn shot, The Hefty. Love the silhouetted deer and the amazing dawn sky. If I might offer one minor suggestion; if you are leaving the detail in the foreground then you could try changing the WB in the foreground to make the dark snow a little less purple? You could alternatively crop out the bottom a bit and turn it in to complete silhouette like the dear. Just a thought, and it is a lovely picture anyway. :)

We had 3 nights in a row of a rare freezing fog. Usually this time of year the night skies are clear and cloudless. Anyways, here's a shot across the field as the fog was lifting. The second shot is a littler later in the day. It's not really a landscape. Both shot with the Tamron 70-300mm on the a580.
