Rusy gold!
It's been a while since I've been on any site. Life has just gotten in the way but I see it getting less crazy around here. hopefully winter is over for this year and I can get back to continue my photography learning. Last weekend we went to see the grandkids and I came across this rusty Merc. This is the first time all winter I got the camera out.

Ken, Love the shots. The first reaction I had was if only the car could talk...
Nice set and welcome back. Look forward seeing more...

How the weathering has deteriorated a neat model of a vehicle breaks one's heart....
No different than what life and weather does to human beings.
Good find, RareTA.

Re: Rusy gold!
Thanks guys!
We had the grandkids this weekend so I wasn't able to get out and do some shooting. I plan to change that this weekend. We are going to South Dakota to hopefully get a pair of eagles. They are nesting about 3 miles from my wife's cousins farm. I tries last fall but to many leaves and couldn't get any good looks. Now no leaves and the nest is easy to see.

Re: Rusy gold!
I love the texture and details in the first one Ken. These rusty cars make great subjects.
I really like the detail that the HDR process pulled out in the surrounding grass in the last one. Nature slowly surrounding and taking back the old car. Great pictures

Thank you guys very muck. I'm really trying to get this HDR down without going overboard with it. I'm focusing on old cars and farmsteads as that's what we have around here.
