Dunvegan Bonfire Night. In homage to Murph's crowd shots, I tried to get some people in the between the bonfire and myself. The bonfire is given a longship (highland galley?) theme due to the Noreseman (Lord of the Isles) heritage of the Hebrides. More worrying was that there was a St. Andrew's Saltire on the longship which also went up in flames - are you supposed to burn the national flag

. I have never been so wet at a family night out

. The rain lashed down from the very start. I was wet through despite my wet-weather gear. I heard not a single moan from the hardy locals - a normal night out for them? I was too wet to try and operate the camera/tripod further, even with the ewa-marine rain cover so no "farks"! Maybe another year. They would look spectaular with Dunvegan Castle as the back drop.
C&C welcome as always.
