Cactus, Sunsets, and Christmas

Unread post by the_hefay »

Spent the evening taking photos and this is what I came up with.

We went to Yarabamba which is a little town outside of Arequipa. Here we found a cactus blooming up on a terrace but it was right as the sun disappeared for the night and I didn't have much time to get a better vantage point.

The sunset was gorgeous and we climbed a little hill to get some shots. It went through all the colors and lasted for quite awhile.

Then we returned to Arequipa and just in time for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Those skies are simply dramatic. Superb Jeff. love the first of the Christmas set. It has that festive ring to it.
