Re: Flowers 2016
Andy, I agree completely with your suggestion. I did pull out a couple of brown blades, but missed those green ones somehow. And you've added a couple more beauties to this thread. I really need to visit your country.

Thanks Sury.
One more paintbrush and then my humble Iris patch.

My Mom drug me out to take photos in this place. What a bummer.

Re: Flowers 2016
More fabulous flower pictures, Jeff and Sury. Especially great to see the wild flowers
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.
Re: Flowers 2016
As the UK moves from spring in to summer (perhaps not temperature-wise yet!) the wild flowers are really getting going in my favourite meadow.
A single flower portrait. An early Oxeye Daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) in the meadow.
2016 Eades - Early Oxeye by Birm, on Flickr
A wider view of the dewy meadow flowers, back lit by the early morning sunshine. Flowers including Green Winged orchids (Anacamptis moire), Buttercups (Ranunculus across), Rough Hawksbeard (Crepis biennia), Caraway (Carum carve), and Twayblade (Neottia ovate).
2016 Eades - Meadow Bejeweled by Birm, on Flickr
First with the A7mkII and Tamron 90mm. Second with the A99 and SAL 70-400 mk1.

Love the flowers from the walk Jeff.
Great shots Andy. Is it my imagination or the image kind of split in two roughly in the middle.
A tall grass blade is causing two different exposure levels.

Thanks Sury and Andy. Beautiful shots Andy, especially the oxeye. I love the droplets on the petals.

Nice work folks.
Birma's daisy portrait takes the page though. Of course I did not consult with the other judges.
