Mark,
Great timing. Perhaps the second one from the previous set and this one with few more from the sequence
can tell a story of defending one's nest. :)

Great series Mark! I especially like the third with the three birds in it.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Mark,
I love the color combination. Black and White against greyish background
and the random angles.

Nice colors on the second one Valery. Very seldom I have seen a goose shot that close.

Thank you Valery, but all who contribute have great shots offer, as do you. Love the Wood Duck, it has such splendid colors! And the Canadian goose may be very friendly to fellow countrymen, but there are a lot of them in out country too. They nest here as far as I know.

Lovely wild bird pictures. I especially like the Avocet shot, Mark, as it is the emblem for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) in the UK :)

Thanks Andy. I know the RSPB as I'm a donor to the Vogelbescherming, which is the Dutch protector of birds and partner of the RSPB within the Birdlife International partnership. I use the RSPB database from time to time for identifying birds :-)
