Great bug shots as the season turns... :D

Love the all.

Good closeup, Gio67, : ) I still have to find one to get that close...

Birma;

Most striking likeness of the wings to the leaves the butterfly rests on. An unusual encounter! :D

And the ladybuggy appears to be tangled in there! : ) Nice clear shot, Birma.

I think I'm a little envious of these shots.

Thanks Greg and Yildiz :D . Perhaps 60mm is a bit short for butterfly chasing, but i was struggling to get the shot and get enough dof. More practise needed :) .

I saw many of these large Bumble Bees today and managed to catch one on the Camassia.

Hi Birma, : )

Good shot of the busy buddy... and lovely closeup of the Camassia also.

Good to know that the only honey producers as we know it are hard at work... : )) Can't think of Earth without honey!

Most impressive Cartoon bug shot, aa los Banos. : )

The oddest of colours make for a very interesting striped outfit for this little buddy!

Wow AA :shock: . Another amazing image. I've never seen such amazing reflections in a spider's eye. If this is jumper then this is not a view I would have enjoyed unless it was a very long lens :D .
