Stock markets on the Internet are eccentric indeed. You never know the attention a certain photo may get and some reactions I see are mistery to me!
But I think they mainly use these images as postcards or e-cards... Hmm, I don't exactly know..

That lilac coloured one in #1 Aster, do you have any more shots of that one? There's some Hibiscus plants around in the yard here, one plant has a flower the same as the one Dr. H posted, and there's a verigated type one, I might have some photo's somewhere, but I don't think I've ever seen one like that lilac one before....nice.

Thanks for the kind and encouraging words!
The warm climate here enables the growth of various hibiscus types. It's one of those species with human-manipulated hybrid beauties which differ with each continent it's on.

Here are two more of the lilac-coloured ones taken in the summer of 2008. I hope you enjoy them as the light of the days were very different from the previous samples I uploaded earlier.

Thanks Yildiz, that's a splendid Hibiscus blossom alright, it looks like it might be slightly variable in colour, some have more lilac and some have more pink/lavender.

I can't help it at all! These plants dictate their own rules...
They do their mysterious work of colouring-art and I just wait for the buds and blossoms to appear and press the shutter release...
