Lenses for A33/55

Folks,

Many thanks for all of that! It's close on 40 years since I bought my first 'serious' camera - a Minolta SLR. As I scan the catalogues - on-line now - with an acquisitive eye I have still to remind myself that I have surely missed - or messed up - far, far more shots through unskilled or unimaginative use of kit than because the kit itself fell short. As to lenses, the 'best' - in an artistic sense at least - group portrait in which I ever found myself was taken by an experimentally-minded fellow using a pinhole. Mind you, said pinhole was on the front of a Hasselblad! As to accessories generally, nothing but nothing improved my own results or broadened my range more than - eventually - a solid tripod. I suspect that will remain so, even as ISO's skyrocket towards six figures!
