Re: NEW-Challenge #53:"Salmon Fishing In The Yemen"-ends Sep
This is what I get for being off the board for a few days! Just took the day off yesterday and spent some time fishing with my 3 youngest. Didn't even bring a camera!

All you need is another day off and this time your camera.
Problem solved.

Why a father of three small beautiful girls doesn't bring a camera to such a historical moment of father-daughters bonding event is beyond me...

Hi Ossie,
Your contributions are some of the most inspiring 'Salmon fishers' out there! Beautiful subjects and interesting architecture as a plus. Beautiful settings.
Women always make everything even more interesting, don't they? : ) They bring their own methods with them...
Lovely contributions.
Thank you for sharing,
Yildiz
Please continue sharing such great photos everyone. Enjoying each one dearly!

I love the sweep Pako. Especially the taut position of the gent in the foreground
and the colors of the water.

I agree with Sury on the beauty of the colour of the water; a turquoise sort of colour with a tint of green. : )
Good one from the bridge. I also like the processing which reminded me of an iPhone filter.
Thanks for sharing, Pako.

Re: NEW-Challenge #53:"Salmon Fishing In The Yemen"-ends Sep
Old one from 1978. We were on a boat and doing some bass fishing in Texas. Casting our artificial lures in a lake with lots of lily pads hoping there were some lunkers in there. I had stopped fishing for a few minutes and picked up my Minolta XK + 50mm f1.4 to take a few photos of the lake and lily pads that were on one side of the boat. Don felt a hit and I happened to have my camera in hand and got this shot. Of course, everything changed within a second. Lucky timing.
