A900 DRO+3 and 17-35mm D results

Get them while they're cheap... The last two I've seen on the largest auction site in sweden went for about $220

I sold the cheap one I bought when Jessops closed many of their stores last year, and kept my 17-35 G, because on the A700 there was little in it, and I thought that when a FF finally came out the G would win the day. Comparing David's results with my experience of my G lens over the week end I am left wondering if I made the right decission The G doesn't seem quite as sharp into the corners as David's pictures show with the 2.8- 4. Anyone like a swap?

@david: in the first picture "roxburgheaisle17-35f11-17mmDRO+3.jpg" on the upper right corner there is a strong violet border between arc and sky. I assume this is not CA as it should then be visible in nearby areas as well. But what does cause this effect? Is it blooming from overloaded sensor pixels?

It can be corrected by defringe/colour noisise NR plus CA control

But in the DRO JPEG it is not so easily dealt with.
