Well work has been keeping me busy lately, and I can see that I have missed some terrific shots. Bruce- I love the beach volleyball scenes, and the waterspout photo especially. Technically this is from last night as I was leaving work... I was processing it when I got home... Then the pager went off... Oh well, I sure I will be forgiven for my late posting. C&C always welcomed. John Oh yeah.. Clear- about 65 F, calm.

David Antony, may I suggest you prepare some posters from your shots, I'll readily exhibit them at my house :wink:

Oh goody, another freeway going up...at least it's not in my neighbourhood. Nice stark rendition there John.

I was wondering what would happen if someone wanted to undo that knot on the bollard, do sealions get agro? or would it just jump in the water? Very good capture DA.

Thanks Greg- Thankfully this massive freeway interchange is by the hospital I work at, so not so close to my house. I have been feeling rather tied to the hospital lately, so I decided, if I can't shoot where I want to shoot, I'll see what I can shoot from the hospital. That shot was taken from the edge of the parking lot. As you can imagine, the workers from the 'Street Shots thread were taken from hospital property as well.. I'm keeping a 'if life gives you lemons, make lemonade' attitude and making the best of it. At least I'm going out of town for a wedding next week, so I'll catch my breath.
David- I love that shot. I know that feeling well. It almost looks like a poster from http://www.despair.com/

It's been overcast for days here and the occasional shower. 28 C, H 57%, 13km/h S.
Greg

Pit lane is quiet at the moment (except for a couple of gardners).

Thanks Doc. Glad you like it.

Greg: I think it would slip into the water if approached. In the breeding season the males defend their territory. Thanks for the kind comment.

Wow Guys! :D

You kept weather control and quality photos intact here. I am proud of you! :D

I like them all and I'm not being diplomatic.

David Antony;

That seal is very sweet, good framing and nice moment capture. If only they would be around more often because they do create a frienly neighbourhood just by showing up and peacefully resting there.

They indeed can serve good fish dishes there, Doc!

Your Turkish, written and spoken must be excellent... :D (which is a good thing by the way)

David- that is a wonderful Great Blue Heron. The park I went to Sunday usually has a couple, but they were mia.
Aster- I like the first fish foto foremost. (sorry about the alliteration) I feel that I have had a free tour of Istanbul by your photos. John
